By being able to offer their senior corporate ranks more ‘headroom’ than many, pathway conversations are both being had and, critically, followed through upon. This will particularly appeal for those in the crowded, top-heavy corporate teams in some of the top-tiers at present.
A big part of their ability to offer this is their atypical positioning among the upper tier that sees them the recipients of an enviable stream of inbound, conflict free referral activity from a global network. While landing first with partners, there is an expectation that senior associates will drive matters autonomously; allowing you to build the profile and business case needed to progress.
Two openings are currently available across the group;
- The first has a private M&A focus, including a strong line of premium private equity clients. Cross-border activity is particularly strong in this team. There will also be public transactions and some IPOs.
- The second has an ECM focus, among wider transactions. Securities and debt capital deals are also a feature.
Both will provide specialist, premium work and give you ample opportunity to make the impact needed to get ahead.
You will bring 5-9 yrs’ PAE in a well-regarded corporate law practice, bringing strengths in M&A / ECM. You will have a strong academic pedigree and an ambition for progression.
